I can't log in!!! Empty I can't log in!!!

I can't log into the game...i don't even get the option to. I was playing fine earlier yesterday and now after the patcher, a white screen comes up and after about 20 seconds, it disappears. What can i do about this. My friend that lives across town, his is doing the same thing. Any ideas?
