Can't use mentalist skills

Hey I just recently became a mentalist, like an hour and a half ago and i cannot use ANY mentalist skills. Also i cant use Psychic Wall at all. Whenever I try to use the skills it tells me that i dont have the correct weapon, but i have a wand and a shield. If anyone can help, it would be welcome.

You need the SpellBook with that you can use mentalist's Skills ! =)

If you didn't receive it ! when you became 131-H Mentalist in your inventory ,

Ask to Doom he wills give it to you ^^

ok thank you sooo much. my inv was full when i became mentalist so that is probably why i didnt get it. as for psychic wall, any ideas?
