Why do you pay extra to get something put on your sandwich but don't get a discount when something is taken off?

Because it's all apart of Doctor Who's plan to save the world? if someone has extra it'll cost more but if someone takes something off it will just go to waste when it could've been an extra! dont worry that's only the DALEKS that take stuff off so we'll be fine until the cyber men come along and order too much extra's and starve the world >.
